Club History
Dudu Footy FC was founded in 2022 as a casual community football group in Peterborough, created to give young adults, particularly from African and immigrant backgrounds a safe, consistent space to enjoy football, stay active, and build brotherhood.
Over the past two years, we’ve grown from a handful of players to a vibrant group of over 160, playing twice weekly on a caged AstroTurf pitch. Our culture is rooted in discipline, fun, faith, and respect.
In 2024, we officially registered as a Community Interest Company (CIC) to formalise our commitment to community impact through football. We are now transitioning into a grassroots club with league ambitions, a committee structure, and long-term plans for youth development, mental wellbeing support, and local partnerships.
Dudu Footy is more than a club, it’s a movement. And this step into formal competition is part of our evolution.
