Club History

King’s-Delph United is a football team with roots deeply tied to the farmland of Peterborough. The name reflects our desire to stand out amidst the many similarly named teams in the area, aiming for something unique and memorable.
The idea for the team began at URBN, where I, Levy Santos, and my friend Sandor Parsakov, first crossed paths. Our friendship was forged through casual conversations about our interests, and we quickly discovered a shared passion for football—not just the sport itself, but its tactical and managerial aspects.
This shared enthusiasm led us to attend Peterborough District League matches together. During these outings, it became clear that Sandor had a remarkable knack for positional play and understanding the tactical side of the game. Inspired by his insights and our shared dream, we decided to take the bold step of starting our own football team.
To ensure we were prepared, we pursued and completed a few coaching and management qualifications through the Football Association (FA). With the necessary skills and certifications in hand, we officially set out to build King’s-Delph United.
So far, we’ve recruited few talented players, all of from work with us at URBN. Each member brings unique strengths to the team, and together, we’re steadily laying the groundwork for a football team that reflects the passion and dedication of its founders.
