Club History

Gunthorpe Harriers was formed in 1989.

This year we celebrate our 35th Anniversary! We consider ourselves to be a friendly, well organised and family orientated Club.

For the last 19 years we have secured Campbell Drive as our permanent home and are very fortunate to have these excellent facilities on our doorstep. High standards have generally been set on and off the field of play and we endeavour to maintain these standards now and in the future. The Club has continued to grow and now has teams in the under 9, 10,11,13,14, 15 and16 age group.

We are an FA Charter Standard Club, originally awarded in July 2008, which recognises our commitment to making football at Gunthorpe Harriers an enjoyable, safe and rewarding experience. In June 2011 we were awarded the FA Respect Award from Northants FA which we are very proud of. In addition we have been awarded the Northants FA Charter Standard Club of the Year, two years running!
