Last season
Last Season the Chairman’s Charity of choice was Prostate Cancer UK which was chosen by League Chairman Dave Barfoot. We were able to do collections at all of our Cup Finals in 2024 as well as a Raffle at our Senior Cup Final and raised an amazing £1,200! We thank everyone who donated and helped to raise money to support Prostate Cancer UK!
This Season
This season, The Peterborough & District Football League is proud to be supporting Mind, a leading mental health charity in the UK. Chosen by the league’s new chairman, Alan Poulain, Mind will be the focus of the league’s fundraising and awareness efforts throughout the season.
The 10th October is World Mental Health Day, as a League we have asked all of our clubs if they can do a collection at their Home match on either the 5th or 12th October 2024 which will then all be collected and matched by the League to then donate to Mind!
We will also be doing collections at all of our cup finals in 2025!
