Registrations for the The FA Walking Football Cup 2026 has now opened!
This exciting national competition brings together affiliated grassroots teams from across the country, offering a clear pathway from local qualifying rounds through to regional finals, and ultimately a national final at St George’s Park – the home of England Football.
Designed to reflect the magic of the FA Cup, the tournament provides walking football players with a fantastic opportunity to represent their club, compete at a high level, and be part of a rapidly growing format of the game. Teams of all abilities are welcome to enter.
Huntingdonshire FA, in partnership with The Peterborough and District Football League, will be hosting the local qualifying competition at Godmanchester Rovers FC, Bearscroft Lane, Godmanchester on Sunday 9th August between 9:30am – 12:30pm.
The format will be 6v6 with a squad size of up to 11 players that can be named. The match will last 12-20 minutes depending on entries. Players must be over 50 to player, and teams can be mixed. The cost to enter a team in the competition is £35 per team. The structure of the day will be a round robin group stage followed by Semi-Finals and a Final. The winning team will progress to the next round of the FA National Walking Football Cup.
